Target audience for this month's meetup: USERS and DEVELOPERS
It's been another year, folks! Time to wrap up and celebrate Christmas early. Not only that, we're also celebrating our SECOND YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Yes, PhAC first opened its doors in November 2010 as an online group and first started doing meetups in February 2011.
This year, we're doing something different. Only because we ran out of time hunting down a venue. So we're having a Christmas Picnic at the UP Diliman Ampitheater. Most of our food is courtesy of Mitch Santos (Globe Labs). But we're still lacking in other stuff like drinks, plates, cutlery, glasses, something to sit on, etc. Besides, the food we ordered is barely good for 20 people only. And we don't know how many will be showing up. So get in the spirit of Christmas and let us know if you'd like to bring something extra to the "table".
Oh, and we can't have a Christmas Picnic without the usual exchange of gifts! So bring a gift along with you! (Gift worth minimum: P200)
See you at the Christmas Picnic!
UPDATE: WE'RE USING GLYMPSE SO YOU WON'T GET LOST!
Yes, folks! So that no one will get lost on the way to the event, we'll be using Glympse Groups so you know where we are and we know where you are!
First: Download and install Glympse to your phone. You can download Glympse here. We assume you have an Android phone. But no worries! Glympse is available on Android, iPhone, Windows Phone and Blackberry.
Second: Either join or follow our "!phac" group. Click here for the how-to on joining or viewing our group..
If you can't download Glympse and can only connect through a web browser, then just follow us on http://glympse.com/!phac. You can check out the link now, though no one is on it yet. You should see the first few people in the group by around 2:30pm, November 24.
Please note that you'll need an active net connection when viewing the !phac group. If you also plan to join the group, you'll need to turn your GPS on as well.
See you at the Christmas Picnic, and don't get lost! :D
